The Last Leaf

Often, childhood is where we face and overcome demons, but often, we don't know how we did that and how we experienced our first understanding of tabu and sorrowful events. I have attempted to explore such an event of my own childhood in my short story The Last Leaf, published by Clay Literary for its Raven issue.
